"I made this piece on a winter night, about 4-5 days before its actual release. This was the only record in the slushwave trilogy that wasn’t meticulously planned beforehand. I actually had a different one in place, but on the night that I made “I’ll Hold Your Hand” I decided that it would be the new 2nd album in the blue trilogy. This album comes from a place of loneliness really. When it’s cold here in England, you feel really melancholic. More of a blue sadness than a dark sadness if that makes sense. I just wanted to make a lengthy piece that could be comforting in times of melancholia. Like an audible friend of sorts."
