"As The Crow Flies" is the second album from British folk singer Will Varley, released 2 Sept. 2013 though Smugglers Records.
"As The Crow Flies" was released in 2013 and has since recieved high praise from the likes of The Independent, Q Magazine, Frank Turner, and Simon Nicol (of Fairport Convention). Darker songs like Blood & Bone and When You’re Gone contrast with tales of self checkout machines and spam emails to create a surreal and politically charged landscape of poetry and songwritting.
Will recorded the new album in the old smuggling tunnels which run through basements of cottages beneath the seaside town of Deal in Kent with the help of producer David Hatton Jnr.
