Album Description
Available in:
Despite never being one of the most recognized bands on the British rock scene, Free always pleased their fans with their hard rock style. Unfortunately, their work has been over-published on compilations, and Best of Free: All Right Now does little more than most other best-ofs. Naturally, it features the hits "All Right Now" and "Fire and Water," as well as a few semi-hits, but, overall, this is just another run of the mill compilation. There are also noticeable exclusions on this release, including two highlights from the band's superb debut album, which render All Right Now somewhat below par. Quite why this was ever seen as a needed release by Island is a mystery; when there are six compilations of Free available, is it even less worthwhile.
