Album Description
Available in:
Time Machine is the fifth studio album by guitarist Joe Satriani, released on October 26, 1993 through Epic Records. It is a double-disc compilation, with the first disc containing a selection of new and unreleased studio recordings (including four tracks from Satriani's 1984 self-titled EP), whilst the second disc is composed of live recordings from 1988 and 1992. "Speed of Light", an unused track from the sessions for The Extremist (1992), was featured on the soundtrack to the 1993 film Super Mario Bros. The album reached #95 on that year's Billboard 200 chart and remained charted for eight weeks.
