Saidiwas was an anarchistic pop-/punkband from Umeå, Sweden.
They started as a hardcore band with post-hardcore influences. In 1995 they contributed to the compilation album Straight Edge as Fuck II, with the song In The Ocean.

The group debuted with the self-titled EP Saidiwas in 1996, and the record was followed by a tour together with Refused.
